Tiffany's annoucement pictrues.
Vacation
Kathie and I recently returned from our vacation to Utah and Idaho. It was the longest vacation that we have ever went on, 2 weeks. It was nice to visit with out children and family. My sister Belinda and her husband Dennis were extremely nice in letting us stay with them when we were in the SLC area. We drove about 2200 miles, luckily we had rented a Toyota Prius where we got about 50 miles to the gallon.
What we accomplished was:
What we accomplished was:
- Attended a SLC Real soccer game
- Had a 4th of July picnic, hosted by our Steven and his wife Lauren.
- We were able to meet Tiffany's fiancé (Quinn Robins) and reacquaint ourselves with Lauren's mom and step father. We also saw Joe and his girl friend, and let's not forget Tiffany
- Saw the 4th of July fireworks, that were shot up from BYU football stadium
- Saw the musical play 'Footloose' at Orem (with Steven, Lauren and her parents)
- We traveled to Filmore to visit with my sister Karen and her family
- Kathie and I then returned to SLC, via the Manti temple and the valley it is in (I am not sure what the valley is called)
- We traveled to Rexburg, where we stayed in Idaho Falls.
- In Rexburg we met Quinn's parents and were able to attend both the Idaho Falls and Rexburg temple.
- Each day we were in SLC I went on walks with Dennis, thus exercising and more
- We bought Tiffany's wedding dress
- We took some pictures for Tiffany and Quinn's wedding annoucement
- Kathie, I and Joe did a day trip to Yellowstone. We were able to see Old Faithful, arriving 8 minutes before it went off

Joe Returns from his mission
Friday, June 27, 2008
This is a new experience for me ... to have a Blog. Several of my children have started their own blogs, so why not me?
This is a busy year for us. Our son Joseph just completed his mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (he served in San Diego). Then having to turn around in four days to go to school. Our daughter Tiffany attending her first year at BYU Idaho, and yes getting engaged (wedding date is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving).
Kathie and I are planning on traveling out to Utah and Idaho to see three of our four children (if they won't come to us, we'll come to them)
